Daniela Carla D'Agostino - 15 años

On November 16th. she would have turned 16. It is very difficult to talk about a daughter when you can't listen to her, hold her or kiss her any longer. When we think about her future plans, we realize that we have to understand that they will not come true. Daniela could change anything with just a few words, with her way of looking, or with her smile. Maybe, the best way to remember her today is by transcribing what she, herself, wrote on 09/12/06, before traveling to Chaco: "This is the opportunity of my life, to travel to a place I have never been to. It´s not so far away, but reality there is very different from ours. I'm really happy I have the opportunity of living this, to go to discover it, to exchange lives for a few days. I feel useful and I know I'm capable of helping and knowing others, of learning and teaching. The fact of being helpful to others, of contributing to other people's happines is a wonderful feeling.
