On October the 8th., 9 students and a teacher from Ecos School died in an accident in Santa Fe Province on their way back from a solidarity trip. A drunken truck driver crashed head-on into the bus in which they were travelling. This proved that our routes are unsafe: a route connecting the MERCOSUR (Southern Cone Common Market) which does not have shoulders, in which blood alcohol tests are not carried out, but which does have Tolls.

Today, the parents of these nine kids are fighting to find a solution for this problem and that is why they have submitted a petition claiming the governors to do what they have to do to improve this condition. For this reason, the parentes request the support of the whole community by signing this petition. We should all support this action, since their aim is that nobody else dies in the routes.
